Inbound Travel Consultant – International Travel Industry

From Luxe Talent, International Recruitment and Specialised Training Consultancy, we are looking for an Inbound Travel Consultant to join an International Destination Management Company based in Warsaw.

Job description

As Travel Consultant this position will be the driving force behind the business and responsible for the day-to-day running, managing sales, revenue and marketing.

  • Responsible for controlling the entire operation and commercial interests.
  • Preparing the rolling strategic plan in line with the company’s overall strategic plan.
  • Overall financial management of all the company’s activities, which will include preparing budgets, key performance indicators, financial reports and capital expenditure to ensure effective control of costs and profitability.
  • Achieving continuous revenue growth through innovation in services, product offerings and sales and marketing initiatives. Present a comprehensive 12-month sales and marketing plan annually.
  • Promote sales by ensuring that sales team members adhere to the sales and marketing strategy.
  • Provide effective leadership, management, training, motivation and development of all team members in their reporting line.
  • Maintaining good relations with all stakeholders, including suppliers.
  • Ensuring compliance with legislation, regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Forecasting, monitoring and controlling wage costs.
  • Monitor and record all breakages and wastage and associated costs.
  • Prepare team rosters in advance based on business.
  • Ensure team members perform duties according to the company’s Procedures.
  • Resolves customer concerns and address all feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Complete a thorough yearly competitor analysis to ascertain our position in the marketplace.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Hospitality or business.
  • Minimum of three years as a General Manager or Sales Manager.
  • Must have full knowledge of Opera Full Service.
  • Must have effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have good analytical skills and decision-making ability.
  • Must be able to work independently and multi-task, prioritizing as appropriate.
  • Obtain any locally required certifications.
  • Fluency in polish.
