At Luxe Talent, an international recruitment and training consultancy specialising in fashion, luxury, retail, lifestyle, and FMCG, we are currently partnering with a fast-scaling, internationally recognised direct-to-consumer brand to find a Logistics Excellence Manager. Our client is present in over 35 countries with a strong and growing retail footprint across Europe, recognised by leading consumer associations across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas — and a diverse, high-performance team built on ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
The Role
This is a senior, high-impact position combining operational rigour with strategic vision, owning external partner performance, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring an exceptional end-to-end customer experience across a complex international logistics network.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the logistics excellence strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals
- Own and optimise the performance of external logistics partners, carriers and 3PLs, driving operational excellence across the network
- Define, monitor, and act on key performance metrics including OTIF, lead times, and service quality
- Champion process standardisation across internal and external logistics functions
- Implement data-driven initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs at SKU level, and enhance customer outcomes
- Collaborate with senior business leaders to align logistics processes with broader organisational strategy
- Identify and bring forward industry best practices, innovations, and technology solutions
- Balance cost efficiency with high service levels through strategic, evidence-based decisions
Requirements:
- Proven experience leading logistics excellence or supply chain optimisation at scale
- Demonstrated track record of driving transformative, measurable initiatives within logistics or supply chain functions
- Deep expertise in logistics network management, partner performance optimisation, and strategic stakeholder management
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable improvements
- Strong knowledge of logistics systems (WMS, TMS), automation tools, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organisation
- Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field required; MBA is a plus
