From Luxe Talent, International Recruitment and Specialised Training Consultancy, we are looking for a Global Business Development Manager to join an international textile company based in the north of Portugal (Braga / Porto).
Main Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities on a global scale.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of business strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape.
- Negotiate and close business deals to achieve revenue targets.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of business development opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients and partners.
- Monitor and report on business development activities and results.
- Participate in industry events and conferences to network and promote the company.
- Provide input on product development and marketing strategies based on market feedback.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and brand awareness.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with business development activities.
Skills and Qualifications :
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior business development in the textile sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Fluent in English and Portuguese Native.
- Proven track record of achieving business development goals.
- Strong understanding of international business practices and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically.
